What is so unique about the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do program?
The program followed by the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association was developed by Sifu Lamar M. Davis II, who has trained with original students from all three periods of Jeet Kune Do's development in the United States (Seattle, Oakland & L. A. Chinatown). Therefore our program emphasizes not only the Seattle, Oakland and L.A. Chinatown era curriculums, but also a generous portion of the wing chun gung fu training that gave Jeet Kune Do such a strong foundation. In other words, a "total" approach to training in Jeet Kune Do. Also, the emphasis is more on physical attribute development and practical self defense. In other words, we consider ourselves a more "combative" organization!

Who is eligible for membership?
Anyone who has a serious interest in learning Jeet Kune Do is eligible to apply for membership. We do require that you follow certain rules and regulations, and if you are in the Instructor/Instructor Trainee program, your participation in certain functions and training activities is also required. Your dedication to the goals of this organization is expected, and there are no exceptions to the rule! If you think you have what it takes, then we want YOU!

What if you don't want to be an Instructor?
You simply join as a Student Member or a Support Member!

What if you are already an Instructor under someone else's program? Can you still join?
No, unless you are willing to make some serious changes! This organization has a definite progression to the training. Once you are accepted as a member, you will be expected to follow this progression and learn the material as taught by Sifu Lamar M. Davis II. Often someone who has trained under someone else is not willing to make the necessary changes in their personal training program or teaching curriculum!

What is the cost of membership?
Instructor/Instructor Trainee Membership in the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association is $100.00 per Year for continental North America or $150.00 per Year for foreign countries. Student and Support Membership in the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association is $50.00 per Year for continental North America or $75.00 per Year for foreign countries. This is a first class organization with first class goals, first class benefits and a first class program for our members! Therefore, membership is a bit more expensive than for other organizations. The benefits of your membership will far outweigh the cost, however!

Do you have to be a member to order Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association merchandise?
Not everything, but many items are considered member's only items, and will definitely require membership! The DVDs in the Jeet Kune Do Complete series can be ordered by anyone, but only members will get a discount! Special Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association training clothes, Instructor training videos, training manuals and any other items bearing the JFFAA logo are reserved for members only!

Once you have actually joined the Hardcore Jeet Kune Do Chinese Gung Fu Association, you will be given the access code to our official Instructor's Forum. With this forum, you will be able to stay up to date on all of the latest developments in our programs, find out first about upcoming events and special offers, and discuss anything related to Hardcore Jeet Kune Do and your training process with other Instructors/Instructor Trainees as well as directly with Sifu Lamar M.
